Keep the ASL Awareness Day celebration going after the Rays game!
By request from members of the Deaf community, we’re adding a special Pints with Prez stop immediately following the Rays ASL Awareness Game on Saturday, August 29!
FRID President Amy Dawson will be at the Rays game from approximately 2:00 PM until the game ends and will head over to Ferg’s Bar & Grill around 8:00 PM to continue the evening with our interpreting and Deaf communities.
Please note: The 8:00 PM start time is approximate and may change depending on when the baseball game ends (extra innings? ⚾).

What is Pints with Prez?
Pints with Prez is FRID President Amy Dawson’s statewide tour focused on something simple but important: connection.
These informal gatherings provide an opportunity for interpreters, ITP students, Deaf community members, and other ASL users to come together, meet new people, strengthen relationships, and simply enjoy time together.
There is no formal agenda. Come for as little or as long as you’d like!
Whether you're coming over from the Rays game or weren't able to attend the game but still want to join us afterward, you are welcome!
Registration is encouraged so we have an idea of how many people may be joining us.
There is no cost to attend this event.
Attendees are responsible for purchasing their own food and beverages.
